Love it!.... except for that contraption behind the drivers seat?... what’s up with that?... not like I’m gonna be working while I’m out boating!.. LoL!... but I guess it makes a spot for the ice chest underneath?
Agreed, I just looks really weird. It’s like they tried to make it similar to the 275 but it just didn’t work in the 25ft. Love the lounge seats though!

Twin super vortex high output (SVHO) power plants with 500HP is going to drain your bank account not only when you sign and drive but every weekend. I have this engine in my GP1800 and oh my god, this thing gulps gas every time I go out. But, it goes like hell. I swear I have monkey arms every time I come back.

They just redesigned the GP1800r too. I have a 2019 and I’ll go through $120 of fuel on a weekend. I don’t want two of those motors. I’m curious of what the top speed will be on the non supercharged 1.8s looks like the 255XD is 54 so hopefully it will still hit 50
Looking at the video capture, it appears optimal cruising efficiency is 6000 RPM @ 39.1 MPH. It drinks 21.7 GPH at that speed. Makes sense, that's basically twice what eh AR195 uses, but wow. Thirsty beast getting 1.8 MPG.
Was excited for the fall boat show here in Michigan......Just got cancelled for covid (even though it is outdoors)........they say the January and March shoes are still planned to go on at this point (both indoor events).....but not going to hold my breath...
@Enduro900 Yes I am looking forward to the January and March shows as well. I didn't go last year. Typically we go to all the outdoor shows, downtown Detroit and at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi.

The 255 FSH video with twin SVHO said burn at cruise was ~11.5 gal/hr. I can't recall the speed though. 34? If so that's almost 3 which is what my 210 gets.
Or maybe it was 14/hr. Starting to second guess my memory. Guess we'll know in a few hours here.
Yes it is. The AR250 looks good to me right now. Am I correct in seeing it has the same 1.8's from last year but with 75 gal tank. So that should increase the range decently. Bimini runs should be easy on one tank? Would love to know the fuel consumption/burn rate and range on it. Weight only looks like a few hundred pounds more? What was the weight on the 2020 AR240 and actual length?

Yup a bigger heavier boat with same engine from prior years= a much slower boat that eats more fuel. No thanks. I will be keeping my 2016 ar240.
Cant get the SVHO with any 25 foot boat unless its the Xd. Looks like
