Jetboaters Exuma 2016 trip videos

I know we had some crazy weather in October last year down here. @robert843 I will be in for a 2018 trip!

Here's a video we put together. I originally thought I had a good bit of footage close enough to both @Andy S and @1948Isaac boats where you could really get feel for the bouncing you have running across the ocean. However, my GoPro I had mounted around my chest was either covered with water, salt, or just not close enough to there boats. The footage of the water itself just doesn't capture the swells and motion that you experience. Anyhow, there are a few different clips that you haven't seen up to this point from the other videos and a few clips we high jacked from @1948Isaac's video to complete our journey from FL to Nassau. Part 2 will pick up from Nassau...more to come on that.

@Ramblin Wreck, bloody awesome video!! Hooah!

Here's part II. It resumes with us arriving at the Atlantis in Nassau, Bahamas. We thought we would put a decent amount of Atlantis footage in there for those that might be interested in seeing a little of what the resort has to offer. The second half of the footage consist of our journey from Nassau to Staniel Cay. This was the first day we really were blessed with good to great water. During the first 40 or so miles prior to arriving at the top of the Exumas, we were able to run mid 30s to low 40s the entire way. For those that went to Bimini, you can imagine how thrilled we were. As we reached the Exumas and into its shallow and protected waters, the seas completely laid down and we were able to run as fast as the throttles would let us. It was a great day on the water. Hope you enjoy...

Awesome!

I really like the lack of crowds I see, is that just because of time of year or you think it's always like that?

The Atlantis had a decent crowd but it's a very large resort. The Exumas are very remote. There isn't enough development down there to host a large crowd.

Even Bimini is rarely crowded. That is one of the best parts.
