JetBoaters.net Bimini Fling June 19 to 25 2016

I called Bimini Sands on (888) 588-2464. It took perhaps a minute to add Sunday to my reservation.

Saw a jet boat headed south on 95 in Florida North of Jupiter! I've been watching all day. Wonder if it was someone on here?

Just got our room for Bimini sands on the 19th. We won't be leaving SC until around 7am Saturday morning. Hoping to arrive at Bahia mar at 5 or 6p.

The Yacht Club office closes at 5. If you are arriving later than that you will need to make arrangements with them.

Sorry guys for my silence - going crazy at work trying to leave early.
We are sticking with the (@Bruce) plan. Kate is working the reservations as she off of work already.
Looking forwArd to seeing you guys Saturday night.

can we make a little later for those arriving near 5?

This is what I see from NOAA site for Sunday:

SUNDAY
WEST SOUTHWEST WINDS 5 TO 10 KNOTS BECOMING NORTHEAST
IN THE AFTERNOON. ALONG THE COAST...SEAS LESS THAN 2 FEET
BUILDING TO 2 TO 3 FEET IN THE AFTERNOON. IN THE GULF STREAM...
SEAS AROUND 2 FEET BUILDING TO 3 TO 5 FEET WITH OCCASIONAL SEAS
TO 6 FEET IN THE AFTERNOON. NORTH SWELL 3 FEET IN THE AFTERNOON.
INTRACOASTAL WATERS A LIGHT CHOP. A CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS.

Seas building 3 to 5 feet with occasional 6 footers in the afternoon on Sunday... yikes

I wish the best of luck to all of you. For myself, I would say this is a very risky trip, too much to gamble on my life and boat IMO.

Regardless...Be safe out there!! Remember that every family has a different risk tolerance regardless of experience. I would consider myself pretty experienced and this would be a non starter for me so far, without a drastic change in the next day or so.

Do not come off plane if you do go and make sure you are going as fast as you can. Hopefully the weather to return calm's down a bit. Keep everyone behind the windshield and I would make everyone wear life preservers.

Godspeed from MD!

You need to call the yacht club. I can't change their hours
Lmao sorry....typo...left out captains meeting....can we move captains meeting later....lol...I was like wth....lol

@RobA, @ClemsonTiger this is the window we are shooting for. If it closes or we miss it the trip will be off. Everyone has been informed of the risk. We simply must be in a harbor before the big waves start. I am planning for a three hour crossing to have us in Bimini around 9:30.

Keep rum coming every thirty minutes until someone passes out...then every fifteen minutes...

Does anyone know what time harbor town marina closes?

What about refueling at Bahia mar? Will that be open?
