JetBoatPilot SeaDek Faux Teak Group Buy

How bout slappin on a Jetboaters.net sticker till a permanent fix is found? Actually, that would be my permanent fix.

I think I was number 25..

I have a bead blaster... if you want to ship your table mounts to me, I'll blast them and send them back... not sure if corrosion will be an issue or not, but I am happy to do it for free and you pay two way shipping to 34104.

@justason , if you can do it, it would be best IMO, if it had a face and actually slid I to the table leg slot. That would keep it on there.

Ok i'll see what i can do. My boat doesnt have this feature. Need help finding part/part number So i have a sample to work off. If i get that far i'll see about adding the logo

@justason send me a link once you launch your kick starter campaign ..:). Seriously a cap with a little leash to keep it in place is something is buy. I use the mount there all the time so I would want to cover it with anything that was a pain to add/remove or easily lost.

@cwoav8r that is a very generous offer. I'd take you up on it if I knew what the result was. I know will suggested this idea but has anybody actually tried it? Results?

Guys, I will blast anything for my JB.net brothers if it is economical for you... just have to make sure it will fit in the blaster cabinet. Hit me up with any requests... depending on the material, some treatment may be required after blasting, but that can be worked out.

I suspect these mounts are polished stainless..hopefully for you it is at least a 316 grade.

I'll send you mine @cwoav8r if you have a bead blaster. If it doesn't work, no harm, I can order a new one. They can't be that much. But we need a way to stop this from happening. You would think things like this would be a no brainer for Yamaha.

We already built and tested the cover made on our mill. We can sell them for 29.95. I will post pictures tomorrow.

Finally made up my mind on what I want to get...think we got the 25 needed. But, just in case, here is my commitment:
1 swim deck kit and some optional mats.

Will send @JetBoatPilot an email.

Very interested in this Will!

I have some of these marks on my 2013 swim deck but didn't realize it was the table mount that caused them. They were already there when I bought the boat but I didn't think anything of them. I keep my boat in the garage and it has still gotten worse over time. What can I do to prevent this? Will the Seadek material "melt" from this reflection as well?
Seems like the only way to prevent it is to either have it bead blasted, or paint or powder coat it with a matte / flat finish

I have been told this should be covered under warranty. . . . . Check with your dealer. It is a known issue that prompted a change in the mount finish as a result. Yamaha knows this is an issue, so go to your dealer and call them on it.

Ok!! I'm in for Sea Dek. Full interior, all extra pieces, and swim platform. I will be emailing @JetBoatPilot shortly.

Thanks again Will!

You do realize that to enjoy it you are going to have to use your boat more than twice a year!

I'm hoping next year will be a major boating year! Then I'll sell it and upgrade.
