JetBoatPilot SeaDek Faux Teak Group Buy

Here are the pictures of the table mount cover that we prototyped last year. We will bring this into production if we have a few guys that want to buy them at $29.95. They will also include a small lanyard that will connect the cover to the little plunger on the left side of the mount.

Was just on a family member's new Cobalt. He had a similar (identical?) table mount on his Seadek-covered swim platform. Not a ton of need for your cover this far north, I suspect, but with more than one boat brand using the same table mounts (I think), sure seems like there is a market for this.

PS: The Cobalt was SWEET but he paid 3X+ what I did for my Yamaha ;)

I suspect the melting problem is more due to the dark color of the OEM anti skid material on the swim platform. It would be interesting if somebody could use a thermal gun to take temp readings of the table mount's reflected rays on black paper, white paper and some neutral color like beige. I would think there would be enough of a temperature differential between the black and white to alleviate the problem. It would also be good to know before we install that nice decking we all just bought through Will's group buy. Would hate to burn that.

Guys, the table mount burning the mat is a known issue. If you are still under warranty take it up with your dealer and have it swapped out.

Yamaha is not big on fixing design flaws like cracked scupper valves, clean out plug blow outs or oil cooler bolts breaking (unless it happens under warranty). In this case they would most likely just replace the singed hydro turf which would not fix the underlying problem. I'm not aware they have a fix out to replace the table mount nor do I expect they will. It will most likely be up to this collective to come up with some solutions.

Hi everyone. I have been away for a while but instantly saw the group buy from the main page message (nice). I want to look at the options but will very likely join in on cockpit and platform tomorrow. Thanks!

Hey guys.

We are going to sponsor a SeaDek Teak/ Hydro-Teak group buy for JetBoaters.net members who own Yamaha boats.

We will launch the group buy on September 1, 2014 and will allow for members to sign up from now until then. To sign up you simply need to e-mail me, Will, at will@jetboatpilot.com with your boat, mat choice and color choice and jetboaters.net user name. Once we've tallied up the number of guys that are in we will announce the totals and apply the price accordingly. Here's the structure.

1 Cockpit kit & Swim Platform kit = 1 unit
1 Cockpit kit = 1 Unit
1 Swim Platform Kit = 1/2 unit

1-4 units = regular price
5-9 units = 15% off total purchase price (SeaDek Teak or Hydro-Teak)
10-14 units = 20% off total purchase price (SeaDek Teak or Hydro-Teak)
15+ units = 25% off total purchase price (SeaDek Teak or Hydro-Teak)

Logos and other custom work will not be discounted. Call for details on logos or custom jobs.

Keep in mind, if you order a cockpit kit with a swim platform kit you save $50.00 up front plus your discount is calculated from the discounted combo price.

Please review our website (link below) for standard mat layouts and optional mats. Prices are there for your review.

If you have questions feel free to call anytime.
I'm not sure if the cut-off includes Sept 1 or not but I'm sure you could email Will today and get on the list.

Sent email... Squeaking another one in at the last minute?

Hey Guys, quick heads up. . . . .

I was away this weekend without internet when my wife, kids, and I got stuck in some rain. The boat was uncovered and the carpets were SOGGY for the rest of the day. The reason this was good is because I received INSTANT APPROVAL for the Cockpit Kit and Swim platform to match! Needless to say I was not able to get my order in until I got back to civilization today.

I emailed Will to give him my SOB story and he was kind enough to let me in. Additionally due the holiday yesterday @JetBoatPilot is extending this for 1 day only. All orders have to be in and completed by COB today (5PM CDT). So if you're not in YET, get in before 5PM central and don't miss out on this SICK opportunity.

Thank again Will!

We are closing the books on the group buy today at close of business. At the moment we are at 45 boats and over a hundred and twenty sheets of material to machine and finish for shipping. We have cut and shipped several already and have completed most of the invoices and payments for this buy. With that said the amount of time to cut this entire order is several weeks worth of work since we only have one machine that can cut the teak material to the level of quality that we've approved. I ask that you please be patient with us as we work through this sudden influx of business.

We have material on the way from SeaDek and have some on hand at the moment. We will do our best to get your orders out to you in a timely fashion but keep in mind that with tons of orders comes tons of admin! We will send you e-mails when your specific order is ready to ship and include a tracking number for you. The orders will ship via UPS and should take about 3-5 days for domestic deliveries and about a week for Canadian shipments.

I want to thank all of the forum members that made purchases during this group buy! We, historically, have slowed down this time of year but with this sale we've been pushed into extra hours for the guys out in the shop. It is really great to know that your team will be busy and that you don't have to cut hours or even jobs to weather the brutal off season that typically comes boating related business. Also a big thank you to Bruce and Julian for putting our group buy on the front page. That really got the word out there and our entire team is grateful!

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us at anytime by e-mail or calling 850-867-1410. I will be going out of town on vacation on the 8th and returning on the 16th. I have left detailed instructions on each order and anticipate all will be well as I leave town. If you need to reach me personally during this week I can be reached by phone at 850-960-3236. Between the 8th and the 16th I can be reached by text or e-mail only as I will not be taking calls on vacation. I will try to answer texts and e-mails as often as I can.
