My 09 didn't have any cushions on the swim deck and the 17 does. One thing I don't like about the Yamaha cushions back there is water is ALWAYS under them. So much so that when I either leave the boat in the slip or take it out of the water, I have a few pieces of pool noodle cut in half that I slide under the edges of the cushions where they unsnap. The stock ones can't easily be removed. That's the only way I've found to get air under them (without removing the bolts from the underside).
While on the 09, I simply carried 2 Type IV Throwables and sat on them when I was back there. That seemed like a good solution.
