Lateral Thruster Update

@bronze_10 there's plenty of time between now and Bimini!!!! lol

Good glad to hear that. Sorry for the trouble!

Installed the new Lateral Thrusters and Thrust Vector XV’s today. Took at most, 40 minutes. I had the XL’s on my 2005 AR230 and I have to say the XV’s look and feel a lot beefier. I hope to get it out this weekend. And they look good too. 09935B26-8D79-4880-AE79-324369C52707.jpeg 9041E2EA-27DF-45C7-8753-072B511B900F.jpeg 3A06F463-02F3-4B5C-958F-12595E872FF1.jpeg

Can't wait to hear your feedback! Enjoy!

I made it to the lake today and put the new Lateral Thrusters and Thrust Vector XV’s throug the paces, during my initial shake down run with my “new to me” 2013 242LS. Having spent the last 2 years in a 2005 AR230 without the Lateral Thrusters, my most imporant comment is I feel a lot more confident around the dock. They do exactly what was promised and the comment from JBP that they are intuitive is an accurate way to put it. These should be standard on every jet boat.

The Thrust Vector XV’s are more effective than the older model, although I’m going to admit that the general improvements in the nozzles from Yamaha may be part of the improvement. The tracking straight ahead at low and no wake speed is dead on and stable, no correction required. The combination of these two technologies are worth the investment. As long as I have a jet boat the JBP products will be along for the ride.

PS: I installed a new Sea Deck kit this week from JBP and it looks great. My son said it makes the 5 year old boat look brand new.

Awesome write up! Would you mind writing a review on our website. This info is very helpful to others!

Glad you enjoyed them!!

Ordered mine Friday! Can’t wait to get them and try them out!

You’re going to like the way they make you look (around the dock).
Wait, that sounds like a phrase from a Men’s Warehouse commercial.
