Sounds like an opportunity for a great deal. Only one question....I looked on Lectrotabs website and I didnt see any 9x16 tabs?

I believe @Bruce or @swatski worked with Lectrotab to optimize the dimensions for our boats and you could purchase these tabs on request.
All I know for sure is that Russ is including this size in our kits and believes that the 9"x16" tabs provide the best performance for our type of boat.

will these tabs work well with the 19 foot series boats? I've wanted to get some tabs, but just not sure it would be worth it for 19 footer?

Interested pending max discount and my family doesn't get COVID-19!

Please keep in mind that if everyone that said they are interested on this and the other thread committed to buy (placed an order) the price would be the Max discount!

I hear we are close but not at the 21 order mark. (it’s only been a day)

We still have a couple of weeks but the it would be nice to have the discount in hand

This is a pretty amazing deal. Especially at the max discount. I paid more for my Mente Marine ACS which is equivalent to the ALC alone.

Having used it for six summers there is no need for the ALC the MLC is equally good for our smaller boats. I never use the automated functions.

With the difference Lectrotab trim tabs made in the ride quality in the chop and the fact that my wife says it was the best mod on the boat...I still think paying the $735 for my kit was worth every penny. This deal price is a deep discount. Get it while you can! Happy wife, happy Life.

Lectrotab emailed me and said the only have a “few “ kit orders. I am not sure how many orders are processed but few seems a long way from the 21 we need to get the max discount. If you ordered please let us know by posting so we can keep track and develop a momentum toward our goal.

I put in my order!!!

They seemed concerned about members calling wanting different configurations than what was offered in the kit.
I suggested Lectrotab count these different configurations toward the discount and do any changes as adders but have not gotten a response.

All I can say that @Bruce @swatski & @zipper invested a lot of time and engineering in concert with Lectrotab to optimize the tab size and actuators and I respect their efforts and opinion on the subject. ALC vs MLC - well I ordered the kit which has the MLC based on these gentlemen’s body of work on the matter

Oh man.... Talk about "Timing is everything."

The setup above (CYSSML9X16-9282 Kit ) work for a 2009 SX230?

I believe the AR and SX 2007 2008 and 2009 have similar hulls and so should work!

What about a 2005 AR230? Anyone know if it will fit?

As far as I know, nobody here has put 9" x 16" trim tabs on the pre-2010 Yamaha hulls. Everything I have read, for at least the 07-09 hulls have been 12" x 12" tabs. One of you could be the first to do this. I would cut out a piece of cardboard the size of the trim tab and hold it on the transom, or actually the step in the bottom of the hull on these boats to see if it will fit. I can say there will not be an interference issue with the tie down straps and trim tabs. I did add a 1/4" shim piece of HDPE to bring the tabs almost flush with the bottom of the hull, at the step.
You are not limited to the 9 x 16 kit, they announced 55% discounts on all kits.
