This MAXXHAUL lights are so bright and they’re perfect for my boat trailer. It’s not a hard decision to choose this boat trailer light kit because it’s DOT approved. The lenses fit very tightly, so I didn't see the need to silicone gasket them, but I did put a blob of silicone on the housing of the rear lights where the wires enter the housing. The lights were very easy to install and the entire job took 15-20 minutes max and trailer and they have been working great ever since. Whether I travel on my boat or place my trailer in the water, these lights don’t give me any problems.
