just replaced one transom plate and used the recommended life caulk ... package says 3 days to not be tacky and 7-10 days to cure ... however mine is still a bit soft after 7 days , which concerns me if i drop in water .... thoughts ? ..Thanks

If its a polyurethane then it cures with moisture. Lower humidity will make it take alot longer than 7days. If it goes in the wayer tuen the water will help cure it. Just as long as its not fresh or too soft where water flow will blow it out
