Hello,
The ECU on my port engine is failing making one of the injectors spray continuously. The new one is pretty expensive, does anyone have a good working used one? Or knows of place where they can be fixed? Thank you.
The part number is 6P6-8591A-01-00

New ones are around $1000.
The existing one can be repaired. Perhaps @bronze_10 will respond. He recently went through the process.

I had BOTH of mine repaired for a out 400 bucks each. I used a place called regulator rectifier. They fixed them both but I had to send one back to be fixed again.

I may have one I can let go of. It came out of a 2008 sx230.

@bronze_10 - Thank you for the response. I am thinking of using them as well. What was the reason your ECU's failed and why did they have to repair one of them twice. Thanks.

@PaulyB - how much do you want for it? How many hours? Any issues? Thanks

I can’t recall the hours. No issues that I know of. @bronze_10 has one of my spare ecus now and it has been working well for him. I don’t know what a good price is for it. $600?

I had an unfortunate I didn't with a waterfall that allowed water to get in my ecu... the repair they did on one failed. I aent it back.to then within the year warrant and they repaired it for free.

@bronze_10 - thanks for clarification. Seems like they are in California, and so am I. Good to hear they provide warranty and stand by their word
@PaulyB - this seems a bit too much for a used ecu. I can get mine repaired for $400, not sure if it's better to get mine repaired or get a used one. But thanks for the offer!

Do you still have an ecu available? 6P6-8591A-01-00? Thanks. Tom
