Looking for someone with audio experience and a 222/252/255 with Factory Tower Speakers

Working with a buddy to try to activate the tower speaker zone. Looking for someone with the factory tower speakers that can identify the four speaker wires for the tower signal and take a picture of how they are pinned on the 12" connext.

I have a 252, the Connext provides low level outputs. The tower wires are blank on mine, we are thinking if we can determine which pins go to the tower zone and mimic a load that we may be able to activate the tower zone.

Adria take a 12v battery and touch the speaker wire 1 by 1 they will make a noise so you can tell which wires go to which speakers

I don't have wiring for the towers so I can't do this. Also this is a bit risky on a can network like our boats - checking resistance is a much safer method.

I meant a 9v battery , just unplug from the amp and test each cable it's completely safe

If your just popping speaker wires, yeah that works well. I actually have several tools specifically for this. In a pinch, a 12v drill battery also works.

Yes that's what use a drill battery, easy way to find out which cable are connected to which speaker

I do not think the Connext screen has tower zone control on a 252se. just tapping into the correct wirers will not make it pop up.

It’s primary a software issue. I have plenty of posts detailing in depth on the unit. Even changing your mode from 252 to 255 it still does not show up. This is why I want to understand the pin outs on a 255 to do further testing.

Back side of connext. There will be two plugs, to the port side is a blue plug. That is the one with audio output.

You can go online and for 14.99 get the full wiring diagram with pin outs on amp and connext side and the whole boat if you want. I have them saved somewhere. I'll see if I can find them.

Maybe @Seno could help. We live around the corner from one another and has offered to help do some electrical work on my boat when I was thinking about doing a GPS.
