How do those tires wear? I see most tires of the size and style wearing quickly and unevenly. Is it the tire or bad lifts? Do lifted trucks get knocked out of alignment easier?

These tires have a tread rating of 500 and have a 50,000 mile warranty. Most all terrain tires do not have a tread life warranty. These are also the stock tire size. The wheels have a 20mm off set which pushes the tire out by a small amount. It gives it a more aggressive look without changing anything with the front end. Mine is also not lifted but I am thinking of a leveling kit that would raise the front 2.5 - 3.0 inches.

Very nice truck! I have a 14' Tundra and loves it. I sometimes forget the boat is back there. Don't forget to use Tow Haul mode.

Not sure if you were asking about his stock tires or my aftermarket tires. Here's my experience. I have LT285-55/20 Nitto Terra Grapplers and they are completely quiet not like the Trail Grapplers Toyo also sells. They have been great for wear so far. I have about 20K on them and they don't even look close to half worn. Toyo says it's a 50K tire and I believe it. They are about 325.00 each though.

Lifted trucks that use coil spring spacers typically will have uneven wear since the alignment geometry will be crappy. I don't have that issue with a spindle lift.

I have the same tires and agree for an all terrain tire they are quiet. I hope they stay that way as they wear.

Oh awesome...I couldn't tell from the pic. I think they are just the right mix of aggressive and quiet. Not to mention look great being so wide. And they aren't very different in height so the speedo isn't affected. Win win win.

What kind of gas mileage are your Tundras getting? I was excited about going to test drive one but I heard that they only get 15/mpg. I'm surprised because it was Toyota who burst into the U.S. market with fuel saving cars!

It's not great with the mods I have done. I'm getting about 14-15 around town ...But I also have an aftermarket exhaust and think it sounds great so that hurts me because I drive a little more spirited. With the wheels and lift I have, I only get about 18 on the highway setting the cruise at 70. When it was stock, I'd get 16 in town and could get 19-20 on the highway if I set the cruise at 65 on flat roads.
