Metric, SAE, or both?

Putting together a tool kit for keeping on my new-to-me 2007 Tango Xtreme. Can't seem to find any definitive info on whether the boat and engine use metric, SAE or a combination of the two. Any suggestions? Anything beyond the obviously foreseeable I should include? I'm thinking hand wrenches, basic sockets and related extensions, screwdrivers, spark plug socket(s), etc.

I looked at the service manual for the 175 XR2 not the 240 and saw both metric and SAE hardware referenced. Find a couple of 10mm sockets, they always disappear. Lol I also saw 10-32 used in my quick dive into the manual. You may not have this motor, but having both will be to your benifit.

when folks start talking about packing a "tool kit" a person has to remind themselves of what they actually think they are going to do out on the water. Then they realize a screwdriver, adjustable wrench and a knife fit the bill. In your case, a set of plugs and a spark plug wrench make sense since it's two stroke. But my two stroke 240 EFI Merc sportjet never fouled plugs until years of use.

Then think about what bodies of water you are on. If just lakes, don't waste any time with big tool kits as you are probably minutes away from home or a dock. It's not like a person takes a Tango on a multi-day excursion offshore.
