@biffdotorg I would love to see a pic of your cockpit cover from the backside. It is very difficult to find good pics. There are so many generic shots and many are of 19x or 21x boats. Some show the cover ending before the swim platform and others show it covering it. I’ve kicked around getting these for awhile, but I’m not sure if I want snaps, even though these covers were part of what I like about bowriders.

That’s the difference. Mooring covers go over the swim platform, and the ratchet straps suck them down under the rub rail. There are two clips that connect to the tie down hooks under the swim deck.

The snap on cockpit covers do just that, cover the cockpit. They only cover the rear seats, but not the swim platform. You drop in a half dozen spools across the gel cote portion of the swim platform that bungee loops pull the cockpit cover down tight, while snaps go down both sides and across the base of the windshield. The SeaDeck on your swimdeck will be exposed with the cockpit cover, and covered with the mooring cover.

I found new, old stock on Ebay for my 242. Keep in mind, the 240 series includes all of the 10-14 24' models, as they are identical from the windshield forward.
