So I have done a bit of work and upgrading to our boat over the past 2yrs. Progress has been a bit slow due to not having it for 2mo of last season for warranty steering work.
1. Subwoofer mounting ring is hallow and makes a buzzing sound during certain frequency. So I removed it and poured flex seal into the cracks. Then to make sure the flex seal fills into all of the voids I put it into a vacuum chamber. The vacuum chamber was a milk crate inside a heavy duty trash bag. Then used a shop vac. Also did a 1/8" foam gasket on the mounting surface between the ring and the boat. And even found a spot where the basket of the subwoofer interfered with tapered part of the ring so it got foam gasket too.
2. Replaced stock air boxes with cone style air filters. Mainly to make room for #3.
3. Relocation of house batteries to the starboard engine airbox area. My start and house, consist of four 6v 240 amp hour batteries. A custom battery tray was made for this.
4. Intake manifold ribbon deletes from Aqua sports performance.
5. Adjustable pump cones from Aqua sports performance.
6. Fizzle blow off valves.
7. Oil separators Mishimoto knockoffs Amazon
8. Three 10" subwoofer in the rear clean out compartment. Soon to be ported/ venting the clean out compartment to just behind the lower swim deck back rest cushions.
9. Transom RGB light's. No one had what I wanted so I made my own. The center is three 50w led cob chips the port and starboard are two 50w. I have only mounted the center due to working on trim tab mounts. The center is plenty bright but I want to be over the top.
