As many know, I moved the family up to Buffalo, NY last summer. We had a decent summer of boating, albeit shorter than we were used it, it was good.
Well, our Indiana registration ran out in April, so we needed to get the boat setup in New York. We're now on month 3 of being unable to get ahold of a real person that can actually do anything to help us. In Indiana, the bank holds the title. In New York the owner holds the title. Well, when we registered her car, she was able to call the local credit union, and work through a few details and get the documents we needed to register the car. It took a couple "back and forths" with the credit union, but we had a real person, and were able to talk it through to get it done.
NOW, Yamaha has been a complete shit show to deal with. We call once a week, and we've escalated to twice a week now. We keep getting told "your request is pending", then we get a copy of our loan documents with a "Your request has been fullfilled" email. So we call back, tell them what we need and are told one of two things "Submit an email request, that's all we can do" or "We see it pending in the system, just sit tight". We've asked multiple times for physical copies, and have received nothing. We can't find any other numbers to call, or people to email, or anyone else to pester to get this moving. I've tried yelling at people, I've tried bribing people, I've offered to drive to wherever they hell they are and "help search" I'm getting NOTHING back from them.
This is beyond frustrating to say the least. We've had the boat out ONCE this season, as we're technically not registered anywhere, and don't want to skirt the laws any more than we have to.
I'm like 99% certain this is a result of when Synchrony loans were bought out by Yamaha Financial a few years ago. I remember others having issues getting title after payoff, and having similar troubles getting Yamaha to actually do anything.
This is the contact information on the portal where we make our payments......The New York Customers notice kind of tells the tale right away of how much they value customers.

I have cash to pay it off, but don't want to add another problem into the mix right now. The last thing this company needs is another complication when they can't even seem to get me someone to talk to on the phone.
SO.......If anyone has any tips/tricks, new phone numbers to call, or an address I can drive to in order to get some things done; I would greatly appreciate it.
