Welcome and congratulations!

Hey, welcome to the site. Fellow Chain O' Lake'r here. Nice to see someone else from our neck of the woods on here. Great looking boat. Do you live on the lake, keep the boat somewhere or trailer it? We keep ours at Sequoit. Actually put it in the water this past Saturday and had the family and dogs out for a drive around the lakes yesterday.

We would love to hook up with some of you Chain O' Lakers. There is a large Yamaha contingent around these parts. You guys should also consider the Shelbyville gathering:

We are also going to do a Chicago Loop cruise of our own on June 11, 2016:

In the fall we do a run from Starved Rock to Peoria as well (not yet scheduled for 2016):

Well the test run was just awesome. I did not feel much difference between my I/O (excuse me, OLD I/O) and the jets. I did go under a bridge with boat traffic and it steered straight with very little adjustments. I did not dock the boat, so that will be my next big test. But I am optimistic.

I gotta say though, one of my favorite things was the no wake + - buttons. Where I boat, we have a ton of narrow channels with two way boat traffic. Some yahoos are always stopping or doing something that causes me to grab my OLD shifter to find a better no wake speed. No more. I can just use the buttons unless I have to put in neutral or reverse. I'm sure there will be lots more positives, but don't want to spoil it :). Thx.

Thanks OperationROL. Appreciate all of the local chatter. Look forward to connecting.

We keep our boat on the channel between Lake Marie and Channel Lake at Webb's Marina. So right down the street from you guys. That's a nice marina you are in. Love the palm trees :). Thx.

Know Webbs very well. Great place. Growing up, my parents kept their boat there. Got to know frank and Nancy very well. Wonderful people. Main reason we are where we are is there is a in ground pool in between those palm trees. Nice feature for kids. See you out on the lakes!
