New Boat! Wasn't planning or expecting this!

I would say it would be cheaper just to get tow insurance and would agree a solid single engine would be my preference. If I was going a long distance with just my boat might get a kicker motor for backup but these newer Yamaha's, Mercury's, and Honda's are pretty solid.

On your sea trial, pay attention to the cruise speed rpms and fuel efficiency. I've seen some boats that are underpowered or under propped that will eat the crap out of fuel. Not saying this boat is but it's something you won't realize until you've been out a lot.

Waiting...........lol

Cash in your plane ticket.....hell of a sea trial back to Broward!

Topped out at 49 mph at 5800 rpm burning 26 gph.

She rode smooth, through the 1-2ft water at WOT 49mph.

Surveyor gave it a thumbs up. Small stuff needs to be fixed. Missing bolt under leaning post, starboard nav light is out, when the live well is on the raw water hose runs, needs to re-route the plumbing hoses for the raw water to fix.

Other than that, everything checked out. Surveyor said I stole the boat. The broker up here said they now realize how much under market they listed the boat.

It's a done deal, she's mine and being shipped to S. Fla!

Congratulations!

Wow. That seems high to me..... I ship exotics from south Florida to ATL and PGH for less.

Congratulations....looks like you got a great boat!:winkingthumbsup"
