New member, Lake Wallenpaupack

Hi all,

I recently upgraded to a 2006 Monterey 233 Explorer, and was looking to get involved in some boating forums for the wealth of info. This site seems to have a few Lake Wallenpaupack boaters based on some of my searching around.

I noticed Monterey wasn't listed in the "boats" section of the profile. Is there a criteria for joining this forum? I hope I'm not in the wrong place...

Anyway, just introducing myself. Looking forward to getting out on the lake and having some fun!

Welcome @Trip and congrats on your new boat. Got any pics of your new boat? What type of power plant does it have? Anyway, glad that you found us and decided to join.

Thanks. Ive only taken it out twice, so not many pics, yet. It has a Volvo Penta 5.0 GXi.

BTW Trip...that looks like a nice spot in your first pic! Is that a shallow spot?

Wow, nice looking boat! Looks like a similar layout to mine.
That first pic is the area under the Ledgedale Bridge. That was the first place we anchored after getting the boat a few weeks ago. Nice spot to swim, and watch the boats cruise by.

Oh, it was about 10' deep...
