New Product Boat Tracker App WE NEED YOUR INPUT!!

We found that there were several other good options out on the market at the time of our development. Ultimately we decided that we did not want to get into a business that we were not experts in and then on top of that have to compete in a very large marketplace.

Another interesting very low cost option is the Bluetooth based Tile device

In case of loss, anyone with a Bluetooth phone and app becomes a beacon to locate it.

Wouldn't be totally effective, but for $20 per year or less, it just might work.

I was just thinking of this post 2 days ago, a few days ago I saw that a trailer got stolen out of my storage lot and a camper was stolen out of another local storage lot. I have locks on my hitches but those aren't going to stop someone that really wants to steal it:-/
I'm going to put some heavy cables through the wheels as well, again not a complete show stopper but may slow them down enough to move on to another boat/camper.

We are so close to I-35 and I-10 anything that is stolen can be on the interstate and gone before you'd ever know it was missing....and probably in Mexico.

If anyone has a gps locator device I'd love to hear a review of it.
