I already gave you my advice, make that boat steer like a sports car on a dry road.

Very clean looking boat!

I see the GA registration numbers... What's your home lake? Allatoona here.

Close neighbor or neighboring state... Either way, congratulations on the new boat!

One of the first things we did, was get a good cleaner and protector for the seats. We also got the Yamaha mooring cover which helped keep the interior clean while not on the water. Also got some Chemical brothers and did the exterior, then some gel coat conditioner. Get yourself some spare fuses and a spare tire for the trailer. Although we didn't go with the Cobra, sorry @Cobra Jet Steering LLC we did install the Thrust Vectors just to help with low/slow speed controls. It you are coming from an I/O it may take you a short bit to figure our your no wake speed controls. A system like Cobra or Thrust Vector could be an easy install that helps you out!
Congratulations on the new purchase and welcome to the addiction.

Thanks very much, I did order the Cobra and I am going to get the cover and spare for sure

The fuses are big...I keep an extra set on the boat at all times.... A small tool set never hurts either.

Thanks, i definitely will

OK I have to ask, as my boat is not at my house, what kind of fuses does it have, same as a car? Never thought of getting extra fuses.

I would presume plug ins. Il’l definitely check before i buy them

Congratulations on the new boat. If you're going to sea FL might require a VHF radio plus a GPS would be good and both are fairly simple installs.

My home lake is Allatoona!

We were out Sunday for our Maiden Voyage. you?
Still waiting for ours to arrive at Park Marine. Did hit Allatoona weekend before last in a rental. Not our boat, but, it got us on the water for the day.

That's cool. We rented several times last summer to see if we thought we wanted to be boat people.
And we really did enjoy it. So I placed an oder for a 2022 Yamaha 255XD last August from Park Marine.
With know way of knowing when the 2022 would show up... I found a great opportunity and we ended up picking up a 2109 Yamaha 242XE in great shape.

Will be back out this weekend.
Hope yours comes soon
