That’s an interesting interpreatation, and probably a more accurate one than mine, as to why he wants to lock his cover. I thought he wanted to make sure nobody takes his cover. I think your perspective makes more sense though.No you can’t lock anything that you can open with a razor knife and why would you lock it It will cost you $800 after they slice it open. In New York City anyone with a Tourneau cover on there trunk just gets it sliced lengthwise with a razor knife as Assholes walk by and look inside and see if there something worth stealing. So even if they steal $100 drill out of the back it still cost $400 for the cover.
