OOPS!!!!!

I have seen a few posts about yamaha jet boats. Normally it's to upgrade to a tow boat. I'm only still here due to being asked to stay and keep posting. If you don't like the post no reason to reply.

If your going to be overly sensitive and can’t take a joke, you shouldn’t be posting in any forum...let alone this one. :winkingthumbsup"

Carry on...

The entire post is making fun of my dad. I just like arguing with jet boat owners. It's super fun.

Did you argue with yourself until few months ago?

It's a lot easier to replace prop above water... we kept our boat growing up in water and step dad had to tie ropes to props to keep them safe and the other end to dock cleat

I've done the "swap a prop in the water" dance. Lots of VERY deliberate movements to make sure the things that sink stay in your hand at all times. Every single tool had a rope or string attached to it to make sure it could be retrieved when dropped.

Except that one time I had to replace the prop hub in deep water with a leatherman and a screwdriver. Failure meant a tow back to the ramp, success meant more time skiing. I got it done, but needed a drink to calm my nerves when it was done.
