SX210 (2021) bilge pump location

In otherwords, the bilge is allowed to fill up with water completely until it makes contact with the pump, and the pump works to prevent the engine compartment from flooding. The bilge (still full), is then emptied through the main drain plug once the boat is out of the water?
In that case a boat that’s always in the water will always have a bilge that is full?

It took me between 3-5 gallons of water before there was enough for the bilge pump to activate. So a "full" bilge isn't really a big deal. It's more important to be able to access the pump quickly than to clear out every last drop of water.

If you want to leave your boat in the water for extended periods I would add a 2nd, redundant, bilge pump in the event one fails or clogs with debris. I did this and put it in the "true" bilge (how to is in the 242X link in my signature....if you can't see my signature turn your phone sideways)
