Used to wear a cap like that when I did land surveying - to avoid banging into the instrument I'd just carefully set up with the brim. Other than that, I know it's "popular" but God, I can't figure out WHY anyone would want to wear a baseball cap like that. With apologies to those here who do it but it always makes me want to see if the shirt label is at the front too!

I wear a ball cap backwards regularly while working. Most of my work involves loading or unloading my truck and trailer for events and I'm usually indoors. So I'm not usually wearing the hat for sun protection, but to soak up sweat since I'm bald. When outdoors, I wear it correctly.
