Hello,

I am researching before i connect the Sonar GPS to the SX190. Has anyone done this? I have seen some videos and posts but do go into the power source specifically. Is there a better place to connect the power and ground than going straight to the battery? How about the fuse box (using a spare if there is one)?

Thanks,

Rey

I have installed 2 gps units in a SX190 and a 195 here is the REFERENCE I used for both installs the plug is located right behind the front instrument panel.

I tapped the wires going to the dash power outlet on the ar195.

Thank you for the response!! What about the transducer how did you attach it to the hull and the wire through the hull? Im thinking attaching it to the starboard side, and run the wire through the white plug in the center top.
