I've read where people are getting speeds in the mid to upper 40's on there Yamaha AR210's I've been only able to get around 35mph... any Ideas

glad to have you on board,

what RPM or your turning at WOT ?
What elevation do you boat at?
Have you ever pulled or inspected your impellers ?

Do you leave the boat in the water? How clean is your hull? Waxed?
Are your intake grates clear?
How much weight in the boat? Gear, fuel, people...
Wind resistance items? Mirror, bimini & other items, captain standing or behind windshield?
There are plenty of variables when trying to figure out why one boat is faster then another identical model.

From experience, I can attest to relatively small impeller damage making a pretty big difference. For example, just replacing this one impeller made the difference between 30mph and 40mph.
