I put a deposit on a left-over 2016 FSH Sport. We are waiting for the ice to clear out and then I will be water testing the boat before deciding to complete the deal. Thanks to this forum, I'm going to be having a good look at the anchor locker drain and at the through hulls at the stern. It is dissappointing to read about these issues, but I've found that every boat has minor issues. Thanks again to those that take the time to post about their experiences so the rest of us can learn.

Congrats!!! What state you in? I have the "ice" issue too.

I'm in Ontario, Canada on the North shore of Lake Erie. No issue with ice here but I bought the boat from a dealer further North. There isn't a ton of Yamaha boat dealers here.

Hope you get a good deal got my 190 sport end of last Summer 28000 out the door with aluminum trailer and coast guard package 2016 looks better than the 17s grey mo better than blue

Not that good, but good for up here where freight costs are much higher on new boats and the used market is softer. Yamaha won't warranty boats bought in the U.S. and imported into Canada. I tried to buy in Michigan but it was going to be a hassle to export my trade and import the new one. The process wouldn't have been too hard but the part that got me was having to pay duty to U.S. Customs to bring across a boat and motor that were originally manufactured in the U.S.

My local dealer wanted over 7 grand more than that with out tax or Yamaha extra warranty drove from VA and picked it up in PA that was a fun trip through the mountains never pulled a trailer before in a rain storm from hell rained so hard didn't have a temporary license plate when I got back

Wow, now I feel like I payed WAY too much. I thought I got a good deal. So is that taxes and everything, everything? Actual sale price must have been $26k. Thats a $6k markdown.

Didn't realize that dealers are blowing out these FSH models already. Its a friggin new model.... LOL That is good to know.

Make sure you inspect your boat thoroughly before signing anything. Make them fix everything.
Once you buy it, its your problem. Make it the dealers problem.
