I was knocking around ideas with a true genius today (search YouTube for "Tech Ingredients") regarding active noise cancelation on our boats...
Please don't try to make connections between me and him, since he values his privacy and it would be a giant setback on the wealth of information he can give to us all...
What I'm thinking is bonding four transducers (commonly known as "shakers") to the fiberglass around the engine compartment, as well as four piezo mics to measure the sound and link them out of phase to a four channel amplifier with a gain control at the dash to manually regulate the noise cancelling...
Get your thinking caps on and let's figure out a solution... Time and time again I've been pleasantly surprised at the depth and breadth of knowledge on this forum

And subscribe to my friend "Tech Ingredients" Channel on the YouTube... Don't tell him I sent ya... Lol

Regards,
Scott
