What is the recommended setup I have 5 adult people with the driver. So 4 in the boat and 1 surfing. I have the 650lb transom sac and the two 200lb Yamaha cubes. I also have the slingshot coaster 5’3” board. Will just the transom be enough? What speed is normally good? Also people are regular and goofy foot so I am guessing transom bag in the center is the best

former AR195 owner. we ran the cubes in each corner on the back and then I put a 750 on the floor in the back corner away from the driver. That worked the best but the pocket was small. I could go ropeless but we never got good enough to do 360's or anything.

That's a tough boat to surf behind. Yes you can do it, but ast @Skierdad stated, your pocket will be pretty small. His setup recommendations are correct. The most important thing I've found when it comes to a good surf wave is a consistent speed and depth.

We had a 21 195S. We had the wake booster including the 2 two-hundred-pound cubes. We also had had a 365lb sac in the ski locker. My boys around 160lb could go ropeless but at 6'2" 200 the wave didn't have quite enough push for me.

Is there a better board that would help get more push than my slingshot coaster 5’3”?

Hyperlight Landlock. Long board and worked great behind my AR195, but that was in 2019. There is probably a better board out there now that I am not aware of. I do know they still make that board.

Any long surf style board will be fantastic for heavy riders and/or low-push waves. They're not as nimble as a hybrid like your coaster for carving, but you can get people addicted to surfing!
