Regal 2100 surf edition test ride

Nice boat and nice review from both of you, especially getting wave time. It's great to see all the advances, but a little dizzing with rapidness of all the technology advances and "surf systems". Reminds me of a time not to long ago when all the runabout were pushing the limits their hulls to capture some of the "go fast" market that was all the rage. No doubt traditional boat manufactures have had a bite taken out of their market with the surge of inboard sales and are adjusting (similar to trying to win back the share of the market that Yamaha gobbled up.)

In the end, you still have to think about how and where you use the boat most to see if it is the right boat and propulsion combo for you. Still no "one size fits all".

thanks jeff....@007. i would think this boat will still fit more in the all-around boat vs. a dedicated surf boat despite it's really cool system.
