I was thinking about replacing my 195s' drain plug flange with this:

They seem like a drop in replacement. However my boat is very dry at the moment around the inside of the drain plugs. I really don't want to make anything worse. How hard are the OE ones to take out? Are they using any sealant from the factory (5200/4200)? When I put the new ones in what do I seal them with, if anything?

I installed the Titan 2 & the 1/2" drain ball valve from the on my VRX. Taking the original plug out was relatively simple, I had 3 screws holding it on. The factory seemed to use regular white silicone and easy to take off and clean up with some Acetone after removing.

I installed the light with 4200 and its hold like a rock in salt water for almost 2 years or around 75 hours.

Good luck!

Did you ever replace yours? I ordered them and when I put them up against my 195S's OE hole the screw holes didn't line up and the unit was too small and didn't cover the old hole, so put the OE back on. Just figured I would check in and see if you had any issues.

I did not install mine yet. My boat is VERY water tight and I got nervous about introducing a water intrusion point. I still have them, and may think about it again this summer but I'm not sure at this point.

I have one on my 2010 seadoo 230 wake and its works great, really bright i recommend to use some 5200 and if you have a metal drain plug to use some Teflon tape since water come in
