Have you had a chance to check out what happened to that engine?
 
not yet its... all ready to yank out and put on the bench... i think it just broke a gear or jack shaft in the gear reduction..

@84rzv500r Do know what the thread sizes are on this fitting? Or better yet where you purchased it with a part number. I installed a SBT rebuilt MR1 in our boat and I’m having an issue with an oil pressure alarm when I throttle down. SBT says I need to verify what the actual pressure is by installing a gauge.
 
all fittings are standard 1/8" NPT in the oil system
 
ok Just solved the MR-1 oil drain challenge... for less than $30 a side !!

I have a big roll of 1/4" USCG approved 1/4 fuel line

and i already ditched the grease fitting in the thermostat housing so ill pop the bulkhead connector in that hole....
I'll just use my Milwaukee M18 transfer pump necked down to 1/4" to suck the sump dry at oil change....
