Does anybody know what size bow eye u bolt is on a 190fsh the plate is making a rust Line run down my boat .

It's not the u bolt it's the flat plate that presses against the haul of the boat

Normally caused from inferior stainless

The word Quality does not exist in Yamaha USA boat manufacturing world.

I know I just need a size so I can change it

The replacement will do the same thing. You can battle the rust with FSR or remove the eye, clean rust off and spray paint the threads. Usually the threads are the culprit.

Lots of boat manufacturers have this issue. My old Regal had one transom lift that used to bleed just a little. Like everything else now days the quality is just not so consistent.

I took the plate off got a thicker one looked like pretty good quality had to make the holes bigger that took awhile being stainless .caulked the crap out of the holes hopefully it won't take water in.

I had wanted to replace my bow eye but was hoping to find one with the stainless protector plate

Did anyone end up finding a decient replacemnet eye that wont cause the rust lines?
