Thanks for all good advice. Sportsman marina will splash my boat for 230.00. 10.00 per linear foot. Hmm

That's pretty steep for an hours worth of work. If you had a 45' cruiser on a flatbed truck then it's what you gotta pay. I don't see that it's worth $500 to keep it out of the salt. I would splash it and then go to a car wash and rinse it and soak it down with Salt a way. Just my $.02

That's a lot more than I expected it to be!
If you were coming close to Panama City I'd meet you at a fresh water ramp and put your boat on my trailer.

I've been in the Gulf a few times for a 5-7 days at a time. I've coated all the jets with Yamashield™ACC-YAMSH-LD-00 before putting into the water and put a coat of it on the engines and the metal inside the engine compartment. I also really coated the springs and non galvanized parts on my trailer.

During the week every evening I spray down the boat with fresh water (boat was left in water). Once washed down I wiped everything down.
When I pulled the boat out of the water I flushed engines for 10 minutes each and really rinsed everything.
After home a full detail.

No issues at all.
