Show Me & Brag About Your Family Pet

Rescued from a busy highway in the country (06/05/2004), as she roamed away from her litter, maybe 3-4 weeks old. Named her Houstyn, as in "Houston we have a problem". Having just moved to SC from FL a few months earlier, and just getting settled with my company, this was the last thing I was open to. I promised myself that if a trip to the vet was fruitful, she would stay. I already knew she was staying, I named her Houstyn cause that was more of a girl spelling to me. Ironically her departure was prompted by age, medical results, and her communication to me that it was time to say goodbye. Ironically the date chosen (12/05/2019) put her exactly at 15.6 years with me, she was about 4 weeks older. It became clear through he life with me, that her existence in my life was intentional.

Dillon, about 10 remains, adopted from the Humane Society in Charlotte April 2012. Not nearly as smart as the Lab mix, but his dopiness has become a fond quirk.

This is our girl Summer. She is the sweetest dog ever. She is almost paralyzed from the waist down, but she is showing some improvements!

This is Dexter, higher than a kite recovering from his surgery. (Had to have a small cancerous tumor removed) he is a 15/10 on the good boy scale. Just turned 4
