Side skirts for keeping sun off the boat?

I had mine by a local upholstery shop. Think I paid $150 for the skirts. They velcro to the underside of the factory cover. Our black gelcoat sides get pretty hammered down here in the Fl sun. Especially due to the boat being stored in the driveway.

I can PM you the info on who did mine. The place did a template off of mine. I also have a great upholstery guy who made my black top. I can take the skirts to him if the other person is not available.

mine is an sx230.. i found a place on line that i can order them for 240 bucks. they use pool noodles to stay on..

Do you find that you don't need to tie down during hurricane season? My boat is in a storage lot.

No, didn’t need to. There are 6 weighted beanbags that clip on and keep it down. I live about 200 yards from title water and keep the boat at the house. No problems with it staying down though despite a couple heavy storms.

I typically put the boat in covered storage if a storm is coming. It's $250 for the month when I do it which is much cheaper than the deductible. Our deductible triples during named storms. I'd check your policy to see if it changes for named storms.

For tropical storms and such, I remove the skirts. Been good since 2015.
