Slot Car Racing

What is the App you are using to design your track?

This one. It's German. I couldn't get it to work with my Mac so I had to dust off an old Dell computer to use it. It's a great designer for Carrera because all the parts are pre-loaded into the track. Takes a little bit to learn how to use, but once you get the hang of it it's pretty slick.

Nice to see this here, I grew up playing it and I have two young sons now. Thinking about it as a very good winter activity.

Here is an English website linking to the same track planner BigN8 posted previously. I don't know if the program itself is English or not. (I have a Mac and can't install the Win ver and it looks like the Mac version relies on a library that allows Win developed apps to run on Mac, and that went EOL in 2019.) The site does have other resources that may be of use.

Just noticed this thread. My sons and I set up our slot track every Christmas, its nice getting there cell phones out of there hands for a few hours. Any deer hunters out there, check out my dads trophies on the wall. Those are Michigan white tail.

Just got the Carrera 132 digital for the boys for xmas. slot cars have come a log way since I was a kid. We have 4 cars, 3 lane changers, the scoring tower and I just dusted off an old acer laptop that runs free race software that tracks lap times, drivers, cars and I project that up on the 65" TV. Tells you who is in the lead and by how much, how much fuel remaining in your car etc.... Very cool.
