2016 AR240. Bought it in mid august of last year and put 50 hours on it before I put it away for the winter in November. Not bad for first season:)

My YDS will be here in 2 weeks and will post what's on my 05 SX230HO. I have had it 3 years with no mechanical issues.

Finally got around to checking. 301 and 304 hours. So around 25 hours a season.

Above on March 1, I posted 190hrs, based on a guess total of my use and the P.O.s guess of his use over 2 years. Well, after ordering the YDS on Ebay for windows 10 and getting my wifes help in designating com port 1, I was very pleasantly surprised to see 129.1 on port and 129 on starboard. There was a high temp warning on each, a few hours apart between 90 and 100 hours, which I can trace back to those mud wasps plugging the starboard pisser holes at the time we purchased the boat. Not too bad for a 10 y.o. Yamaha.

331 on one and 328 on the other.
Got it with 100 at the end of 2012 so I'm averaging about 57.5 per season.
This will probably be less going forward now that my son is in high school.

I'm at 244 hours on our 2006 sx210. I had 400 hours on my Honda ski before I sold it with zero problems on either the boat or ski.

It's funny thats one of the reasons I threw this out there. I have seen big hours on skis but never really much on the boats. @GiddYupJoe 400 hours is probably the highest I have seen.
I see a big difference with the PWC vs the boat. With the PWC the whole idea was to ride. Living in Southern California and using the ski on the ocean we would take 40 to 60 mile trips almost every time we went out. The boat is a whole different experience. The boat may sit at the shore of the lake for an hour or more, then we take kids out tubing, then we shut the engines off to go for a swim, then head back to shore. The number of hours the boat is in the water but the engines not running is high compared to the ski.

When I sold the ski after 12 years it had 400 hours on the engine. The boat is 12 years old but has less than 250 hours. I think the boat engines will last longer than I do.

The other thing about these engines is they always run cool compared to a car engine. They are cooled by lake water or ocean water. In almost all cases that is cool water. If we take care of our Yamaha 4-stroke engines they should easily last thousands of hours.
