SOLD Sotally Tober's 2013 212SS for Sale $31k Austin, T.X.

Agree on craigslist. I sold my old boat in 10 minutes! A bit unusual and I know I got lucky.

Is that a stripper pole?

Consider posting to craigslist la or sandiego as well as boat trader and/or ebay. They can almost boat year round in scal as you know, not sure about austin but do remember the summers there can be brutally hot.

Also be weary of anyone who wants to pay with a new paypal account. Paypal protects buyers not sellers.

Thanks. I went ahead and posted on most of the So Cal cities craigslist. I will get her on eBay this weekend.

What @Ronnie said is very true, disturbingly. ebay scammers can pay through paypal with stolen cc.
Selling anything of value these days can be a nightmare. Especially boats. I went through that a few times and it just seems to be getting worse...

Always liked your boat and the stripper ....err dance pole! :D

Best of luck in the sale!! Looks exceptionally well cared for. I never noticed you had a cockpit filler cushion. Do you have a link for how it was done?

I believe @JetBoatPilot used to sell cockpit filler cushions. Not sure if he still does.

I met the couple that bought my boat at a branch of their bank and had one of the bank's managers hand me the cashier's check.

We had this meet up to exchange check for keys and docs right after they got a full parking lot crawl of the boat. We had done an on-water test drive the previous week. I used both the initial phone call and the test drive to size the potential buyers up. They definitely seemed to be who they presented themselves as: a nice couple very interested in buying my boat.

Paranoid? Maybe a bit. But I knew the check was legit when the bank branch manager handed it to me.
