We have a 2004 Sea-Doo Sportster LE.

At low power settings we get quite a bit of water coming from the aft-lower portion of the engine. At a high power setting it seems to stop. I’ve attached a video. Any and all ideas are welcome!
Thanks for the help.

I can’t upload the video here so I posted to YouTube.

That grey plastic cover comes off. There is a carbon ring and accordion hose that keeps the water out of the boat showing the shaft to spin. Can you peek there?

There's so much water already in the video it's hard to tell what is what, but that area is always suspect.

Maybe as your speed up the water goes to the rear of the boat and stops interacting with the engine so it seems like there's less water. Again the video makes it really hard to tell, butt if you remove the grey cover and expose the pto that might help figure it out.

We replaced the carbon wear ring leading to engine. Leak is gone!
Now however we can’t get to full power. We’re limited to 5000 rpms. We checked the filter and plugs. We got two beebs when we put the key on.
Anything else we should check?
