image.jpeg this arrived today, can't wait to see hear it. Install next week. 10" sub from Earmark.

That's awesome! And it already comes in a box. Just a disposable brush and some polyester resin and you're all set to go.

@David Analog Isn't that the enclosure? I have to open that? Lol....I wish it was that easy. My boat is in Kentucky (i live in Ohio) so I have to pre-plan this install so I have everything. I'm making a list. One question for you sir, If I tin the ends that go in the amp, what type of solder should I use? Thanks!

For my projects around the house, car or boat (if I had one) I use something like a Kester rosin core SN60PB40 (premium leaded) solder.
Just barely tin the ends (nice flow and no build up) and maintain some wire flexibility in order for the wire end to seat well in the screw down amplifier terminal.

Planning my sub install on Wednesday so I have been preparing cutting the hole. I decided to borrow my buddy's trim router and will use it to cut the hole in the cooler compartment. I made a jig for the 8.75 hole out of wood. I pre-drilled all the holes so I can expedite this install. Pictured is the template I cut out today. The birch backing ring will be used as well.IMG_5712.jpg

Great! I would say you are all finished except for the hard work.
