I need to check the JB.net rules and regs on the shaking of the trees. I will let you know what I find out next weekend when I make it back to the rulebook.

I'm sure 4 Jetboaters.net members could be considered a gathering.

We were hoping to sneak by you @Jebinok .

So we will not be arriving at buncombe on Friday about 4.
We will not get on the lake about 5.
We will not stay out till dark thirty.
We will not eat breakfast at the anchor n mor e . chicken fried steak and eggs. Biskets and gravy.
We will not go out Saturday and see @farrelltravis @PEARCE and @jawsf16 .
We will not drink too much beer.
So @Jebinok don't worry about us.
And @maboat where are you?

we just got home time to clean up and get ready for work tomorrow
it was such a long drive to get to and back from the lake, I'm wore out

Tough life living at the lake.

So we did not get to Treasure on Saturday. We had good intentions and a strong will but did not succeed. @PEARCE did you guys have a good troop?

@DCB-270 Dan we had an awesome group! We had 11 boats tied up together and half of us were able to link up our stereos to the same music. That meant that there wasn't stereo wars which made it great. I kept watching for y'all cause you could have snuck in behind us and joined the party. Sunday was a total opposite with us out from treasure swinging on the front hook and floating behind the boat. @jawsf16 joined us and tied up for a bit for us to visit and the kids could play. A great Father's day!

Sounds like we missed out. We should have keep the island hooping going one more island. But we ran out of steam.

we are out today and what the fluck is it with the biting flys? oh they are eating us up so we moved! fluckin assholes!

Where are the flys?

Back in the day we used to meet on the very north part of North island. @maboat @Detonate . The birds slowly killed all the trees and the flys go with the birds. Drove us away. Seems like they would have stopped the destruction the birds were causing.

Oh man, I remember the flys on North Island, they were awful. I thought the flooding killed the trees...it was the birds?

North Island was THE party place before the birds came. The bird crap brought the flies and killed the trees. Its like a wasteland now and you can still see tons of white crap covering the dead trees. It hasn't been the same since then. Sad indeed.
