The seemingly never ending boat purchase saga...

Actually, the owner is calling tomorrow. He's the original owner, so I figure if anyone has any leverage, he does. That's why I haven't made my decision yet.

...I would still do #1. Low hours, avoid the oil mess and (most importantly) you get to do your mods yourself! With our help! A win. <sigh>

I don't think you could lose either way here. I agree with Julian, Do either of them still have warranty coverage? Good luck with your decision.

I would go with number 1. Just because of the fact that i like to do my own mods and know how they were done.

I would go with number one as well. You never know who number two works for.

#2 negotiated price is $35,215. Needs $4500 to get it where I want it between sea dek, new cover, fins, tires, oil cooler fix, etc... If the stereo was 100% how I'd do it, it might be a different story. But it's not. I just texted #1 and told him to find the title and tell me who to make the check out to. If all goes well, I should be bringing her home Saturday.

Great news. Hope it all works out.

@veedubtek , Your getting a brand new boat (17 hours) only you don't really have to break it in. You can not go wrong and good luck with finalizing the deal.

Tell me that you will be taking it out this weekend. They are saying it might be 18 degrees here....

Very nice and congrats!!
