Thottle Adjustment LS2000

Would it be possible to use thread locker?

Did you use that on yours? I think whats happening is as the throttle goes back and forth the tension loosens up the allen screw.

It has been five years since I adjusted mine and four years since I owned the LX210. So I have forgotten what the throttle internals looked like. If I had that issue I would be trying some blue thread locker.

Maybe ill try the red, and see what happens what could it hurt?

Red is intended to be permanent. I would get some blue or use nail polish.

Red=be prepared that the screw does not move ever again in your lifetime.

Be careful for what you wish. If the piece it runs against wear our and you need another turn in the future to tighten it again you may be out of luck.

Blue will hold great, but still move with hand tools in the future. I buy the gel type and it goes on easy and holds the bolts in, until I need them to move again.
