Traction mat fitment issue

Haven't discussed price, but I can't say it's their fault... I really don't know. It's fairly obvious a variation in the boat, not an actual "mat" issue. We will see...

@pcriley what was the reason it didn't fit?

They were too wide in some spots and too narrow in others. Not quite as off as the ones in this thread, though. I get the feeling there is some variance in the Yamaha manufacturing process

Yeah, it would seem... well, I'm glad I only had issues with one mat, and I really don't think it's going to be a problem, so I guess I'll just ride this one out. Gonna look funny next week when we are at the lake, with that one mat missing...lol

Would you be able to take some quick measurements of the position of the latch that’s causing you trouble so I can compare to mine?

I can get better measurements this evening, but if I recall correctly, the good side is 7 1/4" from the back edge of the hatch, and on the bad side, it's 7 3/4" from the back. Also, the starboard side hatch is a little smaller than the port side, but not enough to affect anything.
