What color underwater led lights? (Now with installation details)

Well I was thinking of two of them but now you have me all messed up... lmao.

I didn’t know Trinity Transom lights existed until you showed me light. Lol.

I know nothing about lumens but that’s a lot of them!

I wonder if the trinity would fit below the scupper?

Great post!
The website shows the Trinity is 5” in diameter. My boat is still in storage but I image there will be a nice mounting spot for it.
I contacted the the website this morning to see if they have any comparison videos between the 5150 and Trinity. I was disappointed to find out they don’t have any!
Looking forward to which one you pick and why.

I want one too...problem I’m having is finding the right place to make sure it is under water, the Dagon is my choice...but just where to mount it

I stopped by my dealership today to take another look since my boat is in storage. I’m guessing the best place would be right where the sticker is.

Thats where I was thinking, do you think it would stay wet there while up and running?

Thoughts?

If you remove that sticker, how will your passengers be aware of the dangers to their orifices?

It appears to be in line with the jet nozzles. I think it would be submerged all the time.

At speed, the nozzles are somewhat out of the water. A light in this area may not be fully immersed while underway.

I can't find it, but there is a video around somewhere that was taken with the camera shooting straight down at that location and it was only a few inches under the water. I think when people shoot vids of the lights working when underway and it looks almost like a jet afterburner, they are running in salt water and you are seeing the light so brightly because of the salt foam.

UGH!!!! Just when I thought I had it figured out!
I’ll have to take a closer look. So while stopped or slow speeds it’d be perfect but at higher speeds it may not “flood” the water to its full potential is what you’re thinking?

I’ll have to hunt that video down and take a closer look. Thanks for the heads up.

Well lookie what I just found...stolen from @Mainah. It doesn't look like there is enough hull in the water underway to get a whole lot out of LEDs. If that's his boat, it's a '16 242.boat jet 2.jpg

You the man @DBamaC ! I have to admit I am bummed though.
That is a great pic. It really shows there isn’t much if any real estate on the transom for a light to work while at plane.
Thanks for digging the pic up. It’s much appreciated!

ok, so for me its back to an interior lighting project

Sorry this is off topic, but do you have any more pictures of the stairs you built for the boat? That is a great idea.
