What percent tint

Hello all. I finally found a reasonable price mobile tint service. $350 for the 5 panels on my scarab 195 HO. I had gotten other quotes for $720-$900!

I’m trying to decide between 20% and 5%. I just wanted to get some feedback on what y’all have used, what you think looks best. Also if anyone had 5% do you have any regrets? 90% of the time when the boat is moving my head is above the windshield so I’m leaning towards 5.

I have 5%. It looks amazing. With that said, it does restrict your vision somewhat while underway. I typically look over the windshield most of the time anyway.

I had mine done in 50%. You might think that sounds light but its a nice smoke, takes the glare off and the windshield is completely usable.

I am considering 50% ish... In the dawn or early evening I want to see through it. Also I figure if I get caught in a rain storm 5-10 miles off shore I probably will need to be sitting and looking through it rather then getting pelted in the face. I am not quite sure yet. No one around here does boats for some reason that I can find, surprising with all the boats and water we have around here.
