Guest, we are pleased to announce that Hydrophase Ridesteady is offering an extra $100 off for JETBOATERS.NET members on any Ridesteady for Yamaha Speed Control system purchased through March 7th, 2025. Ridesteady is a speed control system (“cruise control”) that uses GPS satellites or engine RPM to keep your boat at the set speed you choose. On twin engine boats, it will also automatically synchronize your engines.
I vote for the Super Mable. It is big, but I just keep it on the bimini when not in use. The kids feel pretty safe on it, and as others have said, it makes for nice water couch when hanging out.
We picked up Super Mable earlier this summer and enjoy it. For those that use with sx variant boats, how do you optimally store, in-tow? What do you use, the tow line itself? Something else? Deflate and always use swim locker?
We also have airhead gang plank that kids love too, so storage is getting kind of tight.
We also use our Super Mable frequently. Last weekend found a new use for it. Flip it over, put the back up on the swim steps, tie off the rear pull to the boat and you get a bouncy-house-style water slide.
Not a 3 person tube but a 4 person tube is my crew’s new favorite. We used it for the first time over the past weekend and loved it. I found it gets air a lot easier than the three and four person go/ Costco tubes that preceded it. Maybe because the bottom cushion is so much thinner on the new tube?
Anyway, here is a pic of it I use.purchased at Costco online for $225ish and came with a wired electric pump and thick tow rope as well as a return policy that cannot be beat.
Another vote from my kids , for airhead Gforce 3. My 2 kids and 3 other boating family's like it best
We have a few types but after they played on friends Gforce, ended up buying it too.
Kids dont like holes in middle of tube, and say Gforce is a mix of stable, comfortable, and fast, so you can get more wild or just cruise.
My two person tube seems to have been adopted by a neighbor. So I need a new tube. I would like to get a three person tube so the whole family can ride back there. What do you recommend?
I think others already commented but the Mable tubes are durable, easy to inflate/deflate, etc. We have the 2 seater Big Mable (sits 4 kids) or adult and 2 kids.
What I like about Big Mable is the size works well with our boat. You can pull the tube to rest on the swim platform tying rope to tower and ride full speed without it flying around or being in the way. It also will fit deflated and rolled up in the rear facing seat storage.
They have 3 and 4 seaters Super Mable as well, but they are considerably larger.
